Refund Policy

The Servants of India Society has established a donation refund policy to ensure that donation refund requests are processed fairly and transparently, given the increasing prevalence of digital payments. While the Society expects donors to exercise due care and diligence when making donations, it recognizes that errors can occur or donors may change their minds. Therefore, the Society will review requests for donation refunds and make an effort to provide a refund. In some cases, the Society may ask for additional information and documentation to verify the donor's identity and the donation.

It's important to note that the Society is not required to make refunds and may decline requests, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has already been issued. To request a refund, donors must provide specific details such as the date, amount, and mode of donation, and the request must be received within seven days of the donation being made through online, electronic, or other means.

If a refund is granted, the process may take up to 30 working days, depending on the availability of information from third parties such as payment gateways and banks used for the transaction.
